For adults and children ages 10 and up, with or without parents, learn how to solder electronics to make cool gadgets that light up, make noise, or run around your kitchen floor. Impress (or annoy) your friends!
Topics learned while building kits include soldering safety, basic electronics parts and their functions, and elementary DC circuitry. Students will need good vision and dexterity to handle hot soldering irons. General workshop tools, materials, and safety glasses will be provided. First-time participants will receive a free beginner-level electronics kit (spinning top or crystal nightlight).
Price is per single child or adult individual, but parents may work with and/or help their child at no extra charge.
